Freedom of speech under attack

In 2006, the Canadian magazine Western Standard reprinted the Danish cartoons of Mohammed. As a result, the radical Muslim imam named Syed Soharwardy demanded that Canadian police should arrest the publisher, Ezra Levant. He also complained to the Alberta Human Rights Commission, which is a government agency.

The complaint; http://ezralevant.com/Soharwardy_complaint.pdf

As a result, Ezra Levant was interrogated by a "human rights officer" from the government. But contrary to what happened in Norway (with the exception of Vebjørn Selbekk in the paper Magazinet) Ezra decided to stand up for freedom of speech. I was so impressed by his response to this so-called "Human Rights Commission", that I decided to post the videos from the interrogation here:

Opening statement

What was your intent?

The real violence in Edmonton

I don't answer to the state

Entitled to my opinion?

Attributes of free speech

How does the commission make decisons?

Details of the complaint

Closing argument
